Is Plumakids safe for my child?
Here are the controls and limits for the authorized, invitation-only pilot, plus the reviews required before any expansion. (For the legal detail, see our Privacy Policy.)
A parent-controlled private pilot in Spain
The pilot is limited to invited families in Spain with children aged 9–14 writing in Spanish. An adult owns the account and gives the recorded consent before a child profile is created. We collect account details, a child's first name and age band, creative work, and the operational data described in the Privacy Policy. There is no fixed family cap, and independent child-privacy review is required before any material scope change.
How we check AI suggestions
Writing suggestions use automated safety controls. These checks are not perfect: your child can edit the result, and adult review remains important. Public publishing and new AI images and narration are disabled during the pilot.
100% ad-free — we don't sell data
There are no ads for adults or children. We do not sell family data to advertisers. The private pilot is free for invited families and has no subscriptions or payments.
Private throughout the pilot
Stories stay private during the pilot. Other families cannot see them through Discover or an anonymous public link. Public sharing would require a separate review of safety, moderation and the handling of reports and appeals before becoming available.
Parent controls, always
Parents create and manage every child profile. Family ranking is disabled during the learning pilot; participation milestones are personal and do not grade writing quality. A parent can review or delete a child's stories at any time.

What legal scope applies to the private pilot?
The pilot is limited to invited families in Spain and is assessed against GDPR and Spanish law. A documented controller authorization covers this invitation-only program. Independent child-privacy review is required before any material scope change.
Does a stranger ever see my child's story?
Not through a Plumakids public surface during the private pilot. Discover and anonymous public links are disabled during the pilot.
Is the AI content moderated?
AI suggestions pass through automated checks. These checks can miss errors, so children and adults should review the result before using it.
Are there ads in Plumakids?
No. Plumakids is 100% ad-free for both parents and children, and we do not sell family data to advertisers.
Can I delete my child's data?
Yes. A parent can delete a child's profile and stories at any time from the dashboard. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-deletion process.
Does the AI ever write content for my child, unsupervised?
The child writes or dictates and can edit each scene. If the child explicitly chooses “skip this part,” the guide may add one marked sentence they can replace. AI also produces a separate polished reading edition; the original draft remains available.
